Indexed universal life (IUL)

Permanent life protection, with a cash value component that deserves a clear explanation.

Let’s talk about your future

A future you build together.

What is IUL insurance?

Indexed universal life insurance combines a death benefit with cash value. Interest crediting uses a formula linked to one or more indexes. Your money is not directly invested in those indexes.

What we review together

Your protection needs, budget, time horizon, premiums, insurance charges, crediting limits and surrender conditions. We explain what the policy needs to stay in force and the risks you should consider.

Costs, limits and expectations

Caps, participation rates and other parameters may change under the contract. Charges can reduce cash value even when interest crediting has a floor. An illustration is not a promise of returns.

Is it the right option?

That depends on your situation. We compare protection and cost against alternatives before recommending a policy. No single coverage is best for everyone.

Benefits, costs, exclusions and eligibility depend on the product and issued policy. Availability must be confirmed for your state and applicable authorizations.

Questions worth
asking.

Does an IUL guarantee that my money will grow?

An illustration should not be interpreted as a guaranteed return. Charges, premiums and contract terms affect cash value. We review assumptions and risks before you decide.

Can I access cash value?

Some policies allow withdrawals or loans subject to terms. They may carry costs, reduce the death benefit and affect policy duration or tax treatment.

What should I ask before buying?

Ask which charges apply, which premiums are needed to keep the policy in force, how crediting limits may change and what happens if you withdraw funds or stop paying.
